STANDARDS OF OPERATION AND PERFROMANCE FOR PRIVATE CLUBS

"Standards measure quality in the same way that a club's fiscal budget measures revenues and expenses."-Robert Bodman, Publisher

The development of a comprehensive set of Standards of Operation and Performance is an essential component of Lange Range Planning. Pacific Century Clubs, INC. has found, from the results of focus groups and surveys with members, that one of the common elements typically lacking in clubs is a set of “standards” by which the club’s leadership, management and the members in general can agree on.

”A comprehensive set of Standards of Operation and Performance establishes, in no uncertain terms, what “good” looks like.

PCC helps clubs determine, by mutual agreement of all parties, what “good” (or “excellent”) looks like and works with management staff to develop a plan for the implementation of the “Standards of Operation and Performance.”

PCC has developed the “industry standard” boilerplate for private club operating standards. Recognized by the CMAA, PCC has licensed the industry’s association to publish the “Standards of Operation and Performance” that PCC developed for Silver Creek Valley Country Club. PCC is the only industry source for obtaining the “working version” on CD-Rom, which allows a club to customize its own set of standards, quickly and easily on their own computer.
